Drug suspect Paisarn Thonthammachart, 29, is in custody and 123kg of crystal meth have been seized following raids in Sadao and Hat Yai districts of Songkhla on Friday night. Mr Paisarn was wanted on a court warrant issued by Satun provincial court on Feb 8 for involvement in drug trafficking in Satun. The arrest followed the seizure of 95kg of crystal meth or "ice" in Khuan Kalong district of Satun on Feb 6. He later fled into hiding in Sadao district, where he was caught. Crime Suppression Division police and narcotics suppression officers in Songkhla round up living quarters in Sadao district to arrest a major drug suspect on Friday.
